Open Day is a fun and informative day to get inspired about your future career prospects in the creative economy, Find out more about the 30+ areas of study on offer at AFDA. There will be live demos in Film, Television, Performance, Music, Radio and Business Innovation by AFDA students and staff from all of our courses (relevant to what is on offer per campus). From Higher Certificates to Undergraduate, and to Postgraduate Honours and Masters. Ask any staff member or student with a colour-coded lanyard, and they will help you.


There will be a few complimentary refreshments at the Welcome / Info Desk but you can also visit our campus canteen which will be open on the day.

Application Days are mini Open Days where the campuses are open on a Saturday morning to host students needing to sort out their admission administration (apply/ register), and find out any information they need in consultations with our Recruitment Team and a support staff member from Learning or Management. This could be about the courses, entry requirements, fees, accommodation etc.

This is exclusively for prospective students in or recently finished High School to join us on campus for the day to be a student and try a taste of our courses, areas of study, facilities and equipment! You will learn from and engage with our staff and students, as well as get the opportunity to engage with some of the outcomes of our courses: such as making a movie, acting in front of the camera, innovating a new business idea, go live in a radio show or be part of a live television show
